The external pockets are great for quick grab items like toiletry kits. I even wheeled this down a gravel path with no problem. Dragged it up and down several flights of stairs (made a lot of noise!) with no damage or problems. There is an internal wet/dry pocket which is great for separating dirty or wet clothes from the rest of your stuff. Overall, REALLY like this bag. TOOOOO Big!
